Patty moves to Palm Town with her aunt Jane, whose husband George runs a medical center there. Cut off from everything familiar, Patty has trouble settling into her new surroundings and misses her hometown and the friends she left behind. Things change when she meets Alice, and the two get along so well that they soon become best friends. They spend every day together, trying new things, enjoying their time and meeting all sorts of people, making plenty of friends and fun memories along the way. The result is a gentle slice of life story with a touch of fantasy.
