Pink is a young girl who works as a bandit in the desert, and her target is water: she steals it from the Silver Company. The 1990 film treats her thieving life as material for adventure and comedy, set against a fantasy backdrop. There's a scrappy energy to her operations, the kind of underdog chaos that makes desert escapades feel fun rather than grim.
