Two special episodes air during the run of Pokemon Best Wishes! and bring back Hikari and Takeshi, familiar faces from the Diamond & Pearl series, along with their Pokemon. The first episode centers on Hikari heading out on a new journey. The second takes place at the Nibi Gym, which faces the biggest crisis in its history. The pair of episodes together make up a one-hour special mixing action, comedy and fantasy.
