Bird poo falls in love with a hill, the hill vanishes into the clouds, and you're watching an experimental graduation film about longing that somehow makes you feel it anyway. A triangular telescope drops from nowhere, not to solve the mystery, but to let one small thing see what it's lost. This is the kind of movie that either rewires how you think about animated storytelling or leaves you completely cold, and there's no middle ground.

A piece of bird poo falls in love with a hill, only to see the hill carried off far above the clouds. Heartbroken, the poo is left behind until a triangular telescope drops out of the sky, showing whatever the hill is looking at. Blending fantasy, mystery, romance and psychological elements, this short film was made as a 2022 graduate project in animation at Tokyo University of the Arts.
