Nobody talks about this one. A seven-minute collapse of the fourth wall where someone realizes they're drowning in content the same way a character drowns in a story, except the drowning is happening right now, in real time, to you. It's a student film that understands media saturation not as a concept but as a lived sensation, phone screen, TV noise, song lyrics, character faces all competing for the same attention you're trying to split five ways. The joke is that you can't actually watch it properly because you're too busy living it. By the end, the line between viewer and viewed doesn't blur. It just disappears.

The narrator lives surrounded by media of every kind: television, manga, music, films, stage plays, pop idols and cartoon characters. With the TV turned up loud and music playing in the background, they keep watching clips on their phone, soaking in entertainment until they seem to cross over to the other side of the screen, and they love it. Made as a first-year project in 2021 at the Tokyo University of the Arts graduate animation department, the film is a comedy about being immersed in pop culture.
