This is a show that works best if you already love these characters, and it knows it. The five-minute episodes strip away every pretense and just let Miku and the bands be themselves, riffing on the specific dynamics that made you care about them in the first place. It costs nothing to watch and asks nothing from you except familiarity with the game, which means it functions as pure fan service without the sting.

Puchi Seka is a short-form comedy adapted from Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku, the smartphone rhythm game from Sega. Its ten mini episodes were made to stream free on YouTube. Released as an ONA in 2022, it mixes comedy, music and slice-of-life moments in brief installments built around the world of the game.
