SYNOPSIS

He's determined to prove that his chosen genre deserves respect, that raw passion and literary skill can coexist, and that he belongs among the academy's elite despite what everyone assumes about him. Navigating life among other prodigies who range from brilliant musicians to gifted artists, Taketo faces daily judgment, embarrassment, and the constant temptation to compromise his vision for acceptance. His classmates don't know what to make of him. Some find him charming, others insufferable. Romance blooms in unexpected places as Taketo pursues both his literary ambitions and genuine connections with the people around him.
