RUNNING Boy: Star Soldier no Himitsu is a 1986 science fiction film produced by Hudson Soft, the company behind the Star Soldier video game. Yoichi Takahashi, the game's designer, makes a cameo appearance and performs the theme songs. It opened in Japanese theaters on the same day as another video game adaptation, Super Mario Brothers, and did poorly at the box office.
