Cyan gets yanked into a music industry full of talking animal girls and just goes with it, which is the entire energy of this show. The comedy comes from four completely different personalities crammed into one band who somehow work better together than they have any right to. It's barely a story, honestly, just vibes and jokes and the kind of dumb charm that only lands when everyone involved commits to the bit.
SYNOPSIS
Cyan is a cat girl in gothic lolita dress who gets scouted by a music agency and suddenly finds herself at the center of a chaotic dream: forming a band in MIDICITY, a metropolis built on sound and rhythm. Her bandmates are just as unlikely as she is. There's Chuchu, a honor-roll rabbit trying to balance academics with rock stardom, Retoree, a dog girl glued to the internet, and Moa, an alien sheep whose musical talent is matched only by her complete bewilderment at how Earth culture works. Together they're Plasmagica, a ragtag group with more personality than polish, competing against absurdly talented rivals in a city where music determines your worth. The humor lands in watching these four constantly clash and click, their chemistry as messy as it is genuine. MIDICITY doesn't make room for normal, which means they actually belong here. Between gigs, rivalries, and arguments about creative direction, Plasmagica slowly figures out what they're really doing. Some shows want to tell you about the dream of stardom. This one just lets you hang out with the dreamers while they stumble toward something bigger than themselves.
