SYNOPSIS
Tetsuo spent a decade piloting Yukio, a colossal robot, across the vacuum of space fighting an invasion of galactic monsters alongside his only companion. Now the war is over, and he finally returns home to Earth. What greets him is unrecognizable: the planet lies entombed in ice and snow, a frozen wasteland where survival itself has become the real enemy. Humanity clings to existence in scattered pockets, and the world Tetsuo once knew is gone. But Tetsuo made a promise to Yukio before leaving, one he intends to keep no matter what. As he navigates this hostile frozen landscape, he must uncover what transformed Earth into this desolate prison of ice. His journey forces him to confront whether the alien threat he defeated in space was truly the greatest danger all along, and whether a shy kid and his giant robot can save humanity when the entire world has become their opponent.
