These shorts are what happens when you trust a band room full of characters enough to just let them breathe. No plot required, just Kumiko and the section arguing about reeds, Reina finding new ways to be insufferable, Tuba section chaos. The show already earned you in the main series; these specials are the reward, the stuff that lives in the margins of those perfect rehearsal days when nothing matters except the people next to you.

Sound! Euphonium Shorts is a set of seven short specials from 2015 that were included with the Blu-ray and DVD releases of the franchise. Its Japanese title points to the everyday life of a school brass band club, and the genres mark it as a light mix of comedy, music and slice of life.
