A girl gets handed a magic doll collection and suddenly has to fight for a kingdom she didn't know existed. Licca Kayama thinks she is an average 10-year-old girl, living in a quiet suburb with her mother and grandmother. Then she learns the secret they have kept from her: she is a princess of the hidden Doll Kingdom. That discovery puts her in grave danger. The evil Dr. Scarecrow and his henchmen, sent by the kingdom's wicked new rulers, are after her and her throne, and they will use every magical trick to capture her. To keep her safe, Licca's grandmother gives her a set of dolls. When needed, they grow into the Doll Knights, once mighty guardians of the royal family and now her protectors. The result is a comedic magical girl fantasy.
