Kazuya's revenge is personal, but the tournament itself is a cover for something darker. Jun and Lei stumble into a conspiracy about cloning and genetic engineering that reframes every fight as reconnaissance disguised as sport. It's a fighting game movie that actually uses the tournament structure to build mystery instead of just stringing together fight scenes.

Kazuya Mishima was thrown off a cliff as a child. Now he enters the King of Iron Fist Tournament to take revenge on his father, the multi-billionaire Heihachi Mishima. He is not the only entrant with another agenda. Jun Kazama, an operative of the WWWC, and Lei Wulong, a detective from Hong Kong, join the competition to look into Heihachi's illegal work in cloning and genetic engineering. Other capable fighters sign up simply to claim the one billion dollar prize, knowing nothing of what the tournament is really for or what fate lies ahead of them. The two-episode OVA mixes martial arts action with science fiction.
