It drops you into a twenty-odd-minute sprint and dares you to keep up. Lasty Farson is late on her literal first day as a debut angel, trips over herself constantly, and then transforms into Angel Rabbie and becomes the single most competent thing on a dead planet. That gap between the girl who can't get anywhere on time and the angel who wrecks leftover war machines is the whole joke, and it lands. The art has that clean, candy-bright Dokuro-chan energy, which makes the rusted-out post-apocalyptic backdrop hit stranger than it should. Be honest about what this is: one episode, no room to land the premise, a setup built for a series that never came. You'll finish it slightly annoyed that nobody gave Rabbie a second mission.
