This is the show you put on to watch yourself lose an argument with your own taste. Seiichi went from bullied nobody to god-tier because he ate a piece of fruit, and Season 2 doubles down by handing him a teaching post at Barbador Academy under Barnabus Ablitt, which means the classmates who made his life hell on Earth are now sitting in his lecture hall. The pacing is glacial, the cringe hits hard enough that you will physically look away, and Saria remains the most inexplicably load-bearing character in the genre. And yet the jokes land often enough, and the designs are cute enough, that you keep clicking next episode with a stupid grin. It is plot-first, spectacle-light, and completely uninterested in defending itself. Either you drop it by episode three or you finish it and refuse to tell anyone.

Seiichi Hiiragi's luck keeps getting better. Powered by the Fruit of Evolution, he has gathered reliable companions and developed powerful spells. When Barnabus Ablitt, principal of the Barbador Academy of Magic, notices his talents and asks him to teach there, it looks like another win for him. There is a catch: his old classmates from Earth attend the academy, so meeting them could make for an awkward reunion. Meanwhile, a mysterious cult called the Great Devil Order is plotting to bring back its god and plans to sacrifice Barbador's students to speed things along. With strength that no one can match, Seiichi has to protect his friends and the whole world from the coming threat. The season mixes fantasy action with comedy and romance.
