Ard is genuinely unbothered by power in a way that actually works, he's not humble about being strong, he's just bored by the concept entirely, which flips the usual overpowered protagonist energy on its head. The opening arc sells a real premise: what if the most powerful thing alive decided to experience life as something ordinary and still couldn't escape being extraordinary? The show loses its footing when secondary characters arrive and the narrative defaults to ecchi filler, but those first episodes nail something most isekai never attempt.

Varvatos, the most powerful being to ever exist, is bored out of his mind.
