In the year 2100, railways have entered an era of extreme speed. A world rail body has launched the Laser Rail, a new way of traveling that lets trains leave the ground behind. To run this network, the Train Base is founded. There, trains gathered from many countries receive artificial intelligence and robot bodies, and they become the Train Heroes. At the base they go through demanding training, and from time to time they are sent out to help with rescue and relief when disasters strike. The action series was made as a joint project between Japan and China.
