This is the one that makes you sit up straight, because after two films and a TV run of Green Leaves scraping by on Matsuda's amateur-hour management, the debts, and the sleazy producers, the girls finally get to stand on a stage that matters. Mayu's I-1 Club past stops being a wound she hides and becomes the thing the whole group has to carry with her. Yoshino leads like someone who has already been humiliated once and decided it wasn't fatal. It moves fast, faster than the story probably wants, and the tone sits heavier than the scrappy early days, but the honesty about what the idol industry actually costs seven ordinary girls from Sendai is why people put this next to Hibike! Euphonium. The title track lands, and you feel every step it took to earn it.
