Unpei Mochizuki is in his second year at a wholesaler of machine parts when a mistake at work causes trouble for his clients. Shaken, he longs to go somewhere far away where nobody knows him. That is when he meets Tsugumi Nagisa, a picture book author with glasses, a youthful face and an age no one can pin down, who lives on the road with her dog, using her car as a home. Unpei joins them, and the two begin sleeping in the car and traveling with no schedule to keep. Away from a settled routine, each day brings something unexpected, from beaches to mountains and from the north to the south. The result is a relaxed adventure comedy about slice of life on the move.
