Iruma stopped being about survival and started being about something scarier: actually wanting to stay. Season 3 leans harder into the comedy because by now you're not worried he'll fail, you're watching to see what ridiculous situation his genuine kindness is going to accidentally solve next. The jungle arc trades spectacle for character moments that land because you've earned them, and a demon school tournament that feels less like a test and more like watching your friend finally belong somewhere.

After summer vacation, Iruma Suzuki and the rest of the misfit class return to Babyls Demon School as heroes. They soon learn a hard condition: to keep their lavish Royal One classroom, every student must reach Dalet rank before second year, something no class has ever managed. The Harvest Festival offers a chance to rank up, sending students into a vast and highly dangerous jungle in the Netherworld to compete for food. Classmates become rivals in a contest of strength and strategy. The school assigns special tutors to help, and Iruma, aiming even higher than Dalet, sets out to win the approval of his own tutor, the hot-headed and selfish Bachiko Barbatos. The third season keeps the fantasy comedy and supernatural flavor of the series.
