Yanbo, Ninbo and Tonbo are three monkey brothers whose adventures first played out in a 1950s NHK radio drama. This 39-episode fantasy TV series from 1995 brings their story up to date for viewers of NHK's then-new satellite channel. The brothers get into the sort of trouble children do: they sample crow soup, get a fire going on the mountain, and take on the king of the Pig People in a race.
