The Wall doesn't care about your dreams, it just picks eight girls and tells them to be idols whether they're ready or not. Each girl shows up broken in a different way, and the show refuses to fix them with montages or friendship speeches. You watch them actually build something from nothing, one painful, honest conversation at a time.
Miu Takigawa is a shy, reserved girl who hides behind her bangs and works a part-time job to help support her mother and her little sister, Haru. Her quiet life is upended when the entertainment company GIP sends her a letter saying she has been picked as a candidate for a new project. She accepts and meets seven other girls who received the same summons. A manager takes them to a lavish, secret facility, where they learn they will debut as an idol group on a major label. From there they must obey the absolute commands of a mysterious presence called The Wall. Their debut as 22/7 is set for December 24, 2016, whether they feel ready or not. The series is a music drama spun off from a digital idol and voice actor project.
