The final stand isn't a victory lap. It's watching childhood friends become executioners of the only person who could save them, all while the world burns because of choices made ten years ago. Eren has already won before they fire a single shot, and they fight him anyway, because that's all they've ever done. The animation doesn't just show you this ending, it forces you to feel the weight of every sword swing, every scream, every moment these kids realize there was never a way out. This is the cost of being a soldier in a world designed to break you, paid in full.

Eren, now the Founding Titan, marches on Fort Salta at the head of a vast horde of Titans. The refugees gathered there are close to losing all hope when help arrives: Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Conny, Reiner, Pieck and Levi, who barely made it out of the rumbling. Here the struggle between Eren and the old comrades and childhood friends who oppose him reaches its end, in a special that blends action, drama, fantasy, psychological tension and romance.
