Lyrical Lily doesn't chase drama where there isn't any. The whole show is just five girls learning to keep a party alive for a year straight, and somehow that pressure becomes the warmest thing on screen. The OST moves the way they do, and every episode feels like you're standing in the crowd watching them figure it out in real time.

Lyrical Lily, a DJ unit from Arisugawa Academy, gets exciting news: the local city hall wants them to perform at the town's revitalization project. Their excitement turns to panic when they learn the event runs a whole year, with a show every month. Unsure they can meet such high expectations, they invite the DJ units that backed them at their first performance, Happy Around, Photo Maiden, Peaky P-key, Rondo and Merm4id, and the others gladly agree. The project proves demanding, and the girls of every participating unit must give it their all to draw visitors and new residents to town. This second season of D4DJ First Mix is a music-focused slice-of-life series.
