A fudanshi dies surrounded by BL manga and wakes up as the literal love interest in his own fantasy. The show knows exactly what it is: a four-minute victory lap for people who read this stuff because the genre speaks to them, not despite it. Nagi isn't a character who happens to want sex, he's a celestial being who needs Kotone specifically, which means the entire premise is built on the fantasy that your obsession could actually matter to someone.

Kotone is a fudanshi who is killed when a runaway truck hits him while he is buying BL manga, leaving the books scattered over his body. He wakes in an old Asian-style palace, where Nagi, a man who is half serpent, declares that Kotone is now his Miko. For Nagi to rise to a higher form and become a dragon, the two must sleep together. Kotone knows BL inside out and can tell he is meant to be the bottom, so he sets out to use that knowledge to avoid both that role and falling in love. This short romance ONA of four episodes was made to celebrate the second volume of the BL manga it adapts.
