Young Taro sets out on an adventure that pits him against a string of creatures drawn from assorted legends. Made in 1935, this short action adventure film centers on a single young hero facing folklore beings one after another, with its original title pointing to a ghostly commotion at an old temple. Viewers curious about very early Japanese animation may find it an interesting piece of history.
