The CG concerts don't look like CG, they look like watching actual idols move. Each girl gets her own song, her own reason for being there, her own thing you believe in immediately. You're not watching a unified group solve a problem together, you're watching nine different people figure out what it means to shine on their own terms, and that shift changes everything about what an idol anime can be.

Yuu Takasaki, a second-year at Nijigasaki High School, falls for the appeal of school idols after catching a performance by the school's little-known idol club. She and her friend Ayumu Uehara decide to join, only to learn the club has just broken up. Ayumu refuses to let it end there, so the two work to bring the club back, drawing in former members and new faces alike. The members don't fit a mold: sometimes friends and sometimes rivals, each brings her own thoughts and reasons to the group. The result is a music-focused slice-of-life story about a revived club chasing the kind of performances that first won the pair over.
