Old Master Q doesn't need plot coherence to make you laugh, it needs timing and a willingness to break every rule of how comedy is supposed to escalate. The franchise has spent three movies proving it can stack absurdity on top of absurdity, and "Incredible Pet Detective" arrives with the same unshakeable confidence. A detective story built on slapstick logic instead of narrative logic is exactly what this series does best, and by now you either get why an alien sidekick or a talking pet lands harder than anything trying to be clever.
