A young artist fills his canvases with vivid color and restless ideas while his girlfriend stands by him. They live simply, sure that they will stay together whatever comes. When one of his paintings sells, he suddenly finds fame, and for a while he seems to have both love and success. But his hunger to create takes over, and as his life starts to fall apart, he is left trying to salvage what is left. Told as a single-episode music video, Mudai is a romance and slice-of-life piece about an artist caught between expressing himself and wanting to be recognized.
