SYNOPSIS
A mercenary mage accepts what should be an easy job: eliminate a monster terrorizing a village for the eccentric Count Cuttlefish. The sorcerer's confidence proves misplaced when the creature proves far more resilient than anticipated. Desperate to salvage his reputation and his life, the mage resorts to a dangerous magical gambit: transferring his consciousness into the body of his servant, the beautiful and decidedly unimpressed Gin Fizz. What follows is a battle of wills as two people occupy one body, forced to cooperate despite their fundamental incompatibility. The mage must confront his arrogance while learning to navigate the world from an entirely new perspective. Gin Fizz, meanwhile, gains unexpected power but loses her freedom in the bargain.
