Lapis is a princess who will burn her own kingdom down to save a single rabbit, and the show commits completely to the chaos of that decision. Every fantasy trope gets flattened under slapstick violence and a protagonist too pure and too dumb to notice she's the villain of her own story. The real joke isn't that she's incompetent, it's that everyone around her has to survive her kindness.
