The rune that bound them is gone, and neither Saito nor Louise knows who they are to each other anymore. That absence becomes the whole show, a relationship stripped of its magical scaffolding and forced to stand on what was real underneath. By the time they find the elf who might undo everything, you realize they stopped looking for her the moment they stopped needing an excuse to stay together.

After his brave sacrifice in the war against Albion, Saito returns to Tristain with Louise and is knighted, now treated as an aristocrat. Instead of settling in, the runes that bind him to Louise begin to disappear, and with them the master-familiar relationship that defined their connection. Without that tie, both struggle to understand what they are to each other now. When a powerful mage named Sheffield ambushes Louise on the way to a castle, Saito arrives to help, and the battle leads Louise to suspect that another Void user exists. Desperate for answers, they search for the elf who once revived Saito and who may hold the key to his loss of the Gandalfr's power. The show mixes action, adventure, comedy, ecchi and romance in a fantasy setting.
