SYNOPSIS
Mio is a passionate fujoshi who lives for boys-love manga and anime, while her boyfriend Taichi shares her otaku lifestyle but approaches fandom from his own angle. Living together in a tiny apartment, they navigate the chaotic comedy of being two nerds completely absorbed in their respective interests and somehow making it work as a couple. Their days overflow with inside jokes about their favorite series, late-night manga binges, and the constant struggle to balance their obsessions with actual responsibilities. Taichi watches his girlfriend lose herself in fictional romance while she watches him sink into his own rabbit holes. Between convention trips, secondhand shop hauls, and arguments about which characters deserve to be together, they somehow manage to care deeply for each other. The show captures the absurdity of otaku romance: two people who understand each other's passions completely, yet still frustrate and amuse one another constantly. It's a lighthearted look at what happens when two dedicated fans try to maintain a real relationship while their heads are buried in fantasy worlds. Sweet, awkward, and full of references only other otaku will truly appreciate.
