Five minutes to make you care about nine girls who don't have an anime yet. That's the whole job here, and it lands. This is Aqours' debut single PV, the first time Chika, Riko, You, Kanan, Dia, Mari, Yoshiko, Hanamaru and Ruby move and sing as a unit, before a single TV episode existed to explain who any of them were. No arcs, no stakes, no heavy themes, just choreography, sea air and a title that asks whether your heart is shining and then dares you to answer honestly. The song carries it. It has to. Everything is pacing, cut to cut, chorus to chorus, with zero fat on it. Fans still put this on when they want the feeling of the beginning back, before the drama, before the tears, when it was nine kids and one very bright question.

Aqours, the idol group from the Love Live! Sunshine!! anime, is the subject of this single-episode music video. The video came bundled with the group's debut single, so it belongs to the very start of Aqours' music releases and makes a short companion piece for fans of the group.
