You want a show that treats the end of the universe like a side quest while two broke bounty hunters argue about who has to feed the hyperactive alien girl. The pacing doesn't slow down to explain anything, it just piles on space pirates, galactic bureaucrats, and escalating absurdity until the ancient evil apocalypse plot feels like the least important thing happening on screen. In an alternate universe, A-ko and B-ko work together as bounty hunters, chasing giant tortoises across a sand planet. When a young heiress named C-ko, shrill-voiced and always hungry, is carried off by space pirates, the two set out to save her with their eyes on the reward her rich father is offering. With help from Maruten, a tiny officer of the Galactic Police, they learn the kidnapping belongs to a far larger plan. Gail, the pirates' magnetic leader, means to use C-ko as a vessel for the spirit of Xena, a sorceress dead for ages. The OVA runs two episodes and blends comedy, adventure and science fiction.
